Hand of Fatima

The Hand of Fatima is an ancient talisman. Originating from the Hebrew word ‘hamesh’, literally meaning five, the hand is supposed to ward off negative energy.
The eye watches out for the person in possession of the Fatima Hand and supposedly protects against evil encounters. The Fatima Hand also symbolises feminine power.

This is my take on this ancient symbol. Some of these designs were sold as prints.
